Nigel has had many kind comments and thanks from the people he has performed to and continues to do so. On one occasion the very kind owner of a Restaurant in Sleaford gave to Nigel one of the guitars that he plays to this day as a way of saying thank you, which personally makes the guitar to Nigel, priceless.
Below is an extract from a review in Today Lincolnshire for Reuben's Restaurant where Nigel played on many occasions;
"Reuben's has very much a 'bistro' feel. The intimacy of the place is enhanced by the subtle classical guitar playing of Nigel Truman, who, even though he was playing immediately behind our table never became overbearing and actually added to the whole experience. Add in incredibly professional and helpful waiting staff and Karen and Derek have a restaurant to be proud of."
"Nigel, A huge thank you to you for playing at our wedding at Hemswell Court. The music was just perfect and made the ceremony so much more intimate. On hearing you play as I was about to walk down the aisle, I filled up with tears! Your playing during the drinks reception was also amazing. Everyone commented on how beautiful it was, and helped to set the tone for the rest of the day. Thanks again, we would certainly recommend you to anyone."

We would definitely recommend him."

We would definitely recommend Nigel for both wedding music and other functions."
